Epocha restaurant and bar, which opened on the 21st of September 2012, is set in a stunning Victorian terrace, opposite the Carlton Gardens on Rathdowne Street, a few steps up from the CBD of Melbourne.
Epocha means ‘a new or distinctive era’, or ‘a measure of time’, and has the same meaning in most languages across Europe.
“Epocha is our era to let our values and way of life be known through our food, our service and lifestyle. It encompasses everything we are as individuals as well as paying respects to those before us.” Angie Giannakodakis and Guy Holder.
We will be serving sharing dishes with humble origins of Europe. Tasty and wholesome food to nourish your soul, cooked with love by our Chef, Mick Bolam.
Our wine list offers a small range of regional drinking wines that, with our food, will put you in the heart of Europe. Meanwhile, our friendly and experienced team is here to guide you along the way.
We look forward to welcoming you to our new home, Epocha.
