It is with a mix of heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we write to inform you of a significant decision: Epocha will be closing its doors after 12 remarkable years of service. Our last day of operation will be on September 14th.
Since opening in 2012, Epocha has been more than just a restaurant. It has been a place where we’ve seen all the things humans go through.
We’ve shared countless celebrations, milestones, and everyday moments with you. We've served, loved, hugged, and laughed. We’ve celebrated lives, birthdays, and cried with you at the loss of loved ones.
Knowing that you considered us for your special occasions has meant the world to us. It has brought us immense joy to listen to your stories, share in your celebrations, and offer you the care and service for which this restaurant has been so well known.
The decision to close has not been easy. The iconic building that Epocha calls home is up for sale, and coupled with the broader economic challenges we all face, we feel now is the right time to end this era.
The name Epocha, meaning "a moment in time," has always represented our mission to create memorable moments for you. And that is how we plan on closing this chapter - celebrating what has been, what we’ve shared, and one last round of
unforgettable events.
There will be wine tastings, surprise revisits, our menu’s greatest hits, a Baba’s Croatian feast, our iconic Sunday roasts, Monday hospo nights, and reopening Hannah’s bar for wine and snacks. We will close out our final service with an outstanding and unforgettable dinner to mark such a momentous occasion.
In our final 6 weeks, we invite you to join us for one last round of the Epocha experience. As many times as you like, bring your friends, your family, your children, your extended cousins. Whatever you do, please ensure you book.
As we bid Epocha farewell, the team looks forward to celebrating the spirit of Epocha with you – the love of food, hope, community, and shared experiences that have been at our core for over a decade.
Your support, your loyalty, and you sharing your lives with us have been, without a doubt, the greatest honours of our careers.
